Bill Iliopoulos

Bill Iliopoulos has over 15 years of coaching experience in fastpitch softball in and around the Chicagoland area.  Bill has been involved in numerous tournament victories across the country including earning 5 PGF bids to Huntington Beach California.  During his tenure, he has coached numerous student athletes that have gone on to play at all levels of college and has taught his players the proper fundamentals of hitting, pitching and fielding that have prepared them for success.

Softball “life” runs in Bill’s family as well. His two daughters, Mary and Ana, and two nieces, Anyssa and Makayla, are all Cheetahs Alumni and have gone on to all play collegiately at Aquinas College/UW Stout, USD/UW Oshkosh, Rutgers and USD respectively.  Mary has earned All American and Conference accolades and finished 10th in the country in batting avg in 2018.  In the shortened 2020 season, Ana earned Conference Player of the Week in her debut for the UW Oshkosh Titans.  Mary and niece Anyssa also played for the Greek National Woman’s Team where they contributed to a historic best 6th place in the European Championships in Italy where they earned a play in bid for the 2020 Olympics.

Bill lives in Morton Grove with his wife Mary, daughters Mary and Ana and son Christopher.  In his spare time, Bill enjoys watching his son play baseball, hanging out with his family, fishing and driving his classic car.
