Michelle Batts

Michelle attended Glenbard North High, also where Coach Dwayne attended.  During the summer.  Post high school, Michelle attended Northwestern University for four years.
Upon graduation, Michelle served as the volunteer assistant coach for the University of North Carolina under the direction of the Hall of Fame coach, Donna J. Papa.  During that year UNC won the ACC regular season title and appeared at regionals. From there, she was the graduate assistant softball coach for Lincoln Memorial University serving under her mentor, Natalie Layden. She earned her masters degree in business administration in two years.  
Michelle currently serves as the head coach for the 18 & under Taylor Made Titans.  She also does private and group lessons full time for teams and athletes.  She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in organizational leadership. Batts is also assistant coach at local NAIA school, Saint Xavier University.

    • First-team Chicago Sun-Times and Daily Herald All-Area in 2006 
    • Four-time All-DuPage Valley Conference and Academic All-Conference 
  • Travel Ball 
    • Played club with the Illinois Rockers, Wasco Diamonds and Thunder
    • Wasco Diamonds won the 2005 ASA Metro title and the USSSA “A” Illinois State Championship 
    • Rockers earned the 2007 ASA Chicago Metro championship, the AFA Turf title and the USSSA Illinois State championship
    • Rockers won the 18 & Under USA/ASA ‘A’ National Championship in 2008  
    • 9th place in the ASA/USA National Championship in 2016
