John Steinhaus

John has been around the games of baseball and softball his entire life. It was instilled in his blood early by his father Tom Steinhaus. Tom was a very successful player at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and was later drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies.

John played baseball at Valparaiso University. He was a part of two very successful men’s slow pitch teams, of which the 1996 Team Budweiser won the ASA Class A 16” National Champions.

John’s passion for the game is easy to see. Whether its at practice or during a game, his meticulous pursuit of fundamentals is the foundation of his team’s success.
